I am living with my wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs, a cat and 2 chickens, in the Roosendaal area in the south-west of The Netherlands.

What do I do for work

I am a freelance database and systems administrator.
My current employees are Rijkswaterstaat, Basetide and SQLBrander.nl

What do I do for hobbies

Self-hosting

I like self-hosting stuff, like applications I can use.
I also host Fediverse instances, a few of which have grown large...
Examples are https://mastodon.world and https://lemmy.world.
For this, I have setup a foundation.

This week, I have installed a Friendica instance.

Music collecting

My music collection now consists of 9992 items. (I need 8 more...).
I still have my CDs but nowadays I only buy vinyl.

Pool playing

I play pool in the Dutch 3rd division (about to start the season) and in the local competition in SportPub Goes (10th place out of 14 after 1 match).

Series watching

I like watching series, currently I am watching:

• Yellowstone (Season 2)
• Welcome to Wrexham (Season 1)
